Hi Kumiko - what makes your observation particularly interesting is the Dendrobium beetle visible on the stalk of the flower - it's brownish yellow with black markings, quite easy to spot. The damage they cause to the plants can also be seen in the petals of the flowers. They often lay eggs inside a flower spike or new growth and the young eat their way out. So feel free to pick the beetles off and kill them - or drop them in meths if squimish!
